Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church

Sound system performance and speech intelligibility are key to the parishioners experience at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The sprawling worship center led to a challenging acoustic environment with sound reflecting off of ceilings, resulting in unintelligible speech and music, and leaving parishioners with a less-than-optimal experience. Teaming with a local Bose dealer, the church installed an audio system consisting of Bose^® Panaray^® mid/high-frequency and bass loudspeakers, and accurately predicted system performance using Modeler^® sound system software before the system was installed. Parishioners now experience services with feeling and emotion as parishioner Bobbi Li Hyster explains, "When it sounds really good, it just hits you so you feel the music as well as you hear it."
