Simplicity-of-Use and Trusted Bose Professional Sound Quality Provides Transparent Technology Solution to Integrated Meeting Rooms

Bose Professional (Stand 7–C200) announced today the Bose Professional ES1 Ceiling Audio Solution, a powerful in-ceiling conferencing solution optimized for unified communication platforms like Microsoft Teams. The solution — currently in progress to be Certified for Microsoft Teams — ensures a transparent technology experience, meaning no audio devices are located on the walls or tabletops. Consisting of three Bose Professional products: the ControlSpace EX-440C conferencing signal processor, the EdgeMax EM180 in-ceiling loudspeaker, the PowerSpace P2600A amplifier; and the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC2) microphone, the solution creates a reliable, modern-looking meeting room of nearly any size.

Conferencing is about collaboration, and better conferencing is more than just technology. It’s about enabling people to seamlessly connect and collaborate without having to focus on the technology or being concerned if the equipment is working. Bose Professional and Sennheiser — two leading brands who are passionate about audio — have teamed up to provide an in-ceiling unified communications solution that delivers the quality audio and performance needed every single day.

“We’re thrilled to bring together three amazing brands — Bose Professional, Sennheiser and Microsoft — to deliver a Microsoft Teams Rooms audio solution that’s transparent within the space,” shared Martin Bodley, director of emerging business at Bose Professional. “Our EdgeMax in-ceiling speaker is truly unique, utilizing the Bose Professional PhaseGuide technology to deliver pure and natural audio uniformly across a room. And, when combined with the Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling microphone, the Bose Professional ControlSpace EX Dante-enabled DSP and PowerSpace P2600A amplifier, the results are a world-class solution that is easy to install and support.”

Ilya Bukshteyn, partner director, Microsoft Teams Devices, Microsoft Corporation said, “With devices Certified for Microsoft Teams, our goal is to provide our customers with solutions that deliver the best possible experience for Teams meetings and calls. We are pleased to now be working with Bose Professional on a high-performing ceiling audio solution for Microsoft Teams Rooms. With the addition of this new solution to our full catalog of Certified systems for Teams, we continue to deliver on our goal of great Teams devices for every space from the phone room to the boardroom, and everywhere in between.”

Collaboration is about being empowered to work together through technology, not hindered by it. The ES1 Ceiling Audio Solution combines premium performance and refined aesthetics for when ‘good enough’ won’t suffice, delivering a fully integrated meeting room solution that will shape the future of unified communication experiences.
