Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to Enter or Win. A Purchase Will Not Increase Your Chances of Winning.

1. Sweepstakes Period:
The Sweepstakes begins on August 10, 2020 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET and ends on November 1, 2020 at 11:59:59 p.m. (“Sweepstakes Period”).

2. To Enter:
Entrants are required to have a Facebook account, available for free sign up at https://www.facebook.com/. To enter, respond to the weekly prompt in the promotion Facebook post, any time during an Entry Period, and tag the post #BoseChurchGiveaway. Limit one (1) entry per person per week (each an “Entry Period”). Entry Periods are as follows:

August 10, 2020 – August 16, 2020
August 17, 2020 – August 23, 2020
August 24, 2020 – August 30, 2020
August 31, 2020 – September 6, 2020
September 7, 2020 – September 13, 2020
September 14, 2020 – September 20, 2020
September 21, 2020 – September 27, 2020
September 28, 2020 – October 4, 2020
October 5, 2020 – October 11, 2020
October 12, 2020 – October 18, 2020
October 19, 2020 – October 25, 2020
October 26, 2020 – November 1, 2020

Submitting multiple entries in a single Entry Period, or otherwise failing to abide by these Official Rules will result in Sweepstakes disqualification. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 1, 2020. Entries must be the entrant’s own original work and must not include or describe any brand other than Bose (“Sponsor”) or any content that may be deemed obscene, sexual, violent, or offensive. Entries must not defame, misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor, its products or services, or other people or companies, or violate the privacy or publicity of any person, or infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property, or other legal or moral rights of any person or entity. Entries are subject to review by PROMOSIS, Inc. “Administrator”. Any submitted entry containing inappropriate content of any kind will be disqualified, at Administrator’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to publish any submitted entries, in full or in part, in any and all media. Publication of an entry is not intended to indicate that the entry has been selected as a prize winner or is favored in any way. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

3. Drawings:
Winners will be selected via random drawings from among all cumulative eligible entries received by the deadline of each weekly Entry Period, as defined above. Non-winning entries from each Entry Period will rollover into subsequent Entry Periods. Drawings will be conducted approximately three (3) days after the deadline of each Entry Period, by Promosis, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. Potential winners will be notified by Promosis via Social Media direct message to obtain contact information for follow-up eligibility verification, via email from Promosis. Potential prize winners must respond within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial direct message notification or prize may be forfeited. After responding to the initial notification, potential prize winners will be required to complete an online winner verification and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited) within three (3) days of the date of the email notification, or prize may be forfeited. Any potential winner who fails to respond to the winner notifications or is found to be ineligible will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be randomly selected from the remaining pool of participants received for the original drawing.

4. Prizes:
Twelve (12) Prizes – one (1) awarded in each Entry Period: winner’s choice of one (1) of the following:

Bose S1 Pro system plus S1 Pro Backpack (ARV = $750)
Two (2) sets of Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC (ARV = $900)*
     *Please expect an additional 6-8 week delay in fulfillment of this prize if selected.

Prizes may not be transferred, redeemed for cash, in whole or in part. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on the value of the prize won, and will be issued an IRS 1099-Misc tax form for the retail value of the prize awarded. No substitution for prizes, except by Sponsor as may be necessary due to unavailability. If originally offered prize is unavailable at the time of award, Sponsor may substitute an item of comparable or additional value. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to grant to the Sponsor and its promotion partners the right without limitation to use the winner’s name, picture, portrait or likeness, and voice in any future promotional material connected with this Sweepstakes in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation, where permitted, and that such use can be made without prior inspection or approval of the use of any copy used in connection with it. Limit one (1) prize per person. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received by the deadline of each Entry Period.

5. Eligibility:
The Sweepstakes is open to Sound Ministers, Worship Ministers, AV technicians,
Pastors, Worship Leaders, Church Tech Directors (paid or volunteer), and anyone who works in or oversees a worship component for a church ministry at Religious institutions within the U.S., who are legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Not open to employees and their families (spouses, parents, children/siblings and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household) of Bose Corporation, their subsidiaries, affiliates, participating retailers, promotion partners, advertising and production agencies, and Promosis, Inc. By submitting an entry, participant consents to the use of his/her information in accordance with the Bose privacy policy, located at: https://www.bose.com/en_us/legal/privacy_policy.html. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to the release of their name, address, and email information to Promosis for winner notification purposes and for public winner disclosure as required by law. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, and is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability:
Sponsor, Administrator, and their promotion partners and affiliates are not responsible for typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete registrations/entries or email; for technical, hardware, software, Internet, or telephone failures of any kind; for lost or unavailable network connections; for viruses; for failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions that may limit or interfere with a participant’s ability to take part in the Sweepstakes; or for non-delivery of any prize due to factors beyond Sponsor’s control, including lost, late, or misdirected deliveries or any delay or suspension of service that may affect prize delivery. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated entry devices are not valid and will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and seek prosecution of any entrant who disrupts or interferes with the proper play of the Sweepstakes, or acts in violation of these Official Rules in any way. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failure compromises the integrity of the Sweepstakes, or corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If Sweepstakes is canceled for any reason, including but not limited to those stated above, winners will be determined via random drawings from among all eligible entries received up to the time of cancellation. Sponsor and its promotion partners, related companies, agencies, and their respective employees or officers shall not be liable for injury, losses, damages, or costs of any kind resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes, or acceptance of or use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant releases and holds harmless and agrees to indemnify Bose and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, including any vendors providing services, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates shareholders, officer, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “Released Entities”) in connection with this Sweepstakes and hold them harmless from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, (including, without limitation, any special, incidental or consequential damages), or any other injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to person(s) or property (including, without limitation, death or violation of any personal rights, such as violation of right of publicity/privacy, libel, or slander), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes, or arising out of participation in any Sweepstakes related or prize related activity, or the receipt, enjoyment, participation in, use or misuse, of any Sweepstakes or prize related activity, whether hosted by Bose or a third party. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, nor is this entity responsible for prize awards.

7. Dispute Resolution:
THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Massachusetts having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participants' actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

8. Winners List:
For the names of the winners, send a standard-size postcard, only, with your return address to: Bose Professional Church Sweepstakes Winners List, PO Box 38, Marblehead, MA 01945. Requests must be received by January 25, 2021. Winners List will be available only after winners have been verified and prizes officially awarded. Do not send entries or other correspondence to this address.
