Dante – Shure Dante Mic Control Panels

Each Dante®-enabled microphone from Shure has a control panel accessible from the Design View. Each microphone’s control panel is identical, apart from the number of microphone channels and the presence of per-channel LED buttons on the MXA310.

Connected

At the top of each control panel, there are two indicators labeled “Connected”. The Dante Connected indicator will illuminate when the microphone has been recognized on a Dante network. This indicates that the microphone is ready to communicate with other Dante devices, but does not reflect whether ControlSpace® Designer is currently online to the devices.

The Shure Control Connected indicator will illuminate when ControlSpace Designer has obtained an IP connection with the microphone. ControlSpace Designer will not have any control of the microphone unless this indicator is illuminated.

IP

Run the Shure Web Device Discovery application to detect the Shure devices on the network and determine the IP address of the microphone. Enter that IP address into the IP field.
