Groups – Composite Objects

When adding processing objects to Groups, some multi-channel objects will trigger a dialog box asking which channels should be added to the Group. These composite objects are actually multiple objects, but they’re represented on screen as a single object in order to provide unified and more organized wiring and control panels.

Examples of composite objects are

  • Analog Inputs/Outputs
  • Dante Inputs/Outputs
  • CobraNet Inputs/Outputs
  • AmpLink Outputs

If two channels of a composite object are selected in the dialog box, only parameters from those two channels will be added to the Group. If additional channels from the same composite object need to be added to the Group later, the additional channels may be added individually or in multiples, and will appear in the Group window as usual.
