Parameter Sets – Renaming

By default, Parameter Sets are named, “Param.Set1”, “Param.Set2”, etc. When working with more than one or two Parameter Sets, it can become difficult to remember which Parameter Set is recalling which values. To eliminate this confusion, Parameter Sets should always be renamed with a descriptive name.
The Rename function is accessible from the right-click context menu of the Parameter Set or by selecting the Parameter Set and pressing F2. After renaming a Parameter Set, the new name will be used to identify that Parameter set in the Parameter Sets window as well as in any selection list within ControlSpace® Designer, such as the Parameter Set Recall logic object, the right-click context menu for objects, and the Project Directory.
A descriptive name for each Parameter Set can eliminate confusion and prevent incorrect assignment of Parameter Sets.
